Welcome back!

Added Info for all the new players:
Over the last several years some players who have been out of the game for a
long time have decided to come back and play again.

What are the real reasons for this do you think?

Maybe it is one of the standard ones..………….

I’m retired and have more time to play.
The kids are grown and I have more time to play.
I’m in lock down quarantine and now have more time to play.

Or could it be…….

I just got back from a 5 year sabbatical with my zen master in Tibet and thought I
would make one more attempt to understand the game’s Japanese economy.

I’m out! My jail term for chopping down the Japanese ornamental cherry tree
at the rest home has expired, so I’m taking up the game again.

My deaf-mute wife left me and now I have more time to play. I should have seen the signs.

When I got out of the hospital after 6 long years in the mental ward the psychiatrist said it
would be alright if I played again as long as I didn’t try to invade Australia.

While I was digging a deep hole in my backyard I decided that I was fed up with my wife
Complaining about all the time I spend playing Admiral’s Edition. I decided to tell her off,
But then I remembered why I was digging a deep hole in my backyard.
I now have more time to play.

After 6 years I unexpectedly found my lost PBEM password stuck on the back of my old
Purple satin Richard Simmons “Move those Buns” T-shirt. Game on!

2 years ago the AI beat me in a campaign game but I was able to dominate it at kick boxing.
Thought I would try and play again on my new computer.

My girlfriend had a baby and went home to her mother. I now have more time to play.
I thought my vasectomy would keep her from getting pregnant but all it did was change
the color of the baby.

3 years ago I told my PBEM opponent that my password was “penis” and that I use the
same password for my bank account. He said it was not long enough.
I have finally gotten over my anger at that and want to play again.

Welcome back Lord Admiral! Are you still working at the War Museum?

PS - Cap Mandrake is mostly MIA now because of work-related frustrations. I'm sure he would like to hear from you by PM.
