Man, i hopes he's ok. Communication is pretty important i think.
i have two games going and i've been worried about opponents now too.
in my older game i hadn't seen a turn for a while. i finally realized it had been 9 days with no word and sent a message just to make sure they were doing ok. They were. They had just gotten busy. They're young with families so it's understandable.
in my other game i hadn't heard for three days and then my opponent sent me an email asking if i was ok. i immediately responded that i had sent the turn 3 days before and resent it. nothing back. i resent it again. nothing. i resent it again from another email. nothing. it's now been another 3 days and nothing.
we all us gmail addresses. do you think gmail is having a problem? do they have computer problems?
maybe DR HAL's computer crapped out. is his email a gmail address?

he was in a car crash last Sunday & had broken both of his wrists - (he could have broken something else! , as working a keyboard will be tricky...) Hopefully he will make A full recovery

I hope that he gets better with no after effects.
In a car crash, I broke the left wrist and tore the right pectoral muscle. That was painful and difficult to do much of anything. I made a mistake of lifting a heavy water bottle up to a water dispenser two or three months later and that hurt my left wrist which can still give me problems.

I'm so glad to hear that DR HAL is still with us! While terrible, it could have been a lot worse. I'm still feeling sad about my friend NOMAD's passing, and I didn't want to hear of any more. Please pass on our best regards to DR HAL and wishes for a speedy recovery!
