Hi all
After years I`m back on WitPAE.
How do you get information what terrain is in a hex, lets say roads, rivers bridges mountain jungle and so on. I can`t plan a good defence position when I don`t have the necessary info.
So where can I access this. I tried it with toggle on and off hexside info but that didn`t change anything.
Thanx for help

Got help by Skyros reference sheets

The "1" key toggles display of the hex terrain.

The "F6" function key toggles display of hex side terrain.

There's also a map legend in the upper right corner, where few (Japan) players ever venture.

Just having had to look this up myself recently .... the color codes on the hexsides as to what blocks and what is passable can be found in 4.2.2 of the manual. Like Moltke, I am also getting back into this game and having to relearn/rediscover these little things. :)

Rename the your Credits1024.bmp so that it does not get copied over. Move the .bmp file in the zip into your art folder.

This is what the .bmp in the zip looks like:
The file in the Zip is a higher resolution than this one.
To see it in the game, click the Credits button.
