I try loading air groups on AKVs and the planes get loaded as cargo (they all show as damaged). I've used AKVs in Transport TFs ... and maybe Air Transport TFs.

Doesn't the aircraft special load rule work with AKVs?

Can you post a picture? AKV's should load aircraft undamaged....GP

So I made this test scenario in which I placed the Kittyhawk at Karachi and made removed the restrictions from AHQ India so that I could load one of the three air groups at Karachi:

Yes, they show as damaged when loaded on an AKV. But disregard it. Once off-loaded at their port of destination they are intact and ready to fly the same turn. That's been my experience anyway. Just a guess, but I suspect that the game's designers had to code planes loaded on AKVs as damaged to prevent players from being able to fly their planes off them as if they were carriers.

What Platoonist said. There're still loaded as cargo, even through they are still in one piece. Look at it moor as being unable to fly than damaged.
