Well this is not good. Canada has declared war against Persia.

The next turn Persia has surrendered. All my Canadian units are frozen in Persia, can't move at all.

Persia is not owned by anybody. No lend lease to USSR.

That should have gone to UK. Is this a PBEM game?

Yes this is a PBEM. Here are the screens. I push on the DOW button as UK. I will see next turn if this is solving anything.
Otherwise, the Canadian army is dead...

You also might try railing them down to the port and out that way if it works.

I can reset the turn so you get a UK unit there. But this isn't supposed to happen. Very odd it did.

I have not captured Persia since the last update...but before that I often use the Canadians...and this has never happened to me.

No, I am bringing an UK unit to see.

Could be your opponent has an older version?

Ok I tested..... Canada taking Iraq while neutral vs Italy that was the controller.
I also tested Canada taking Persia while at war with Germany as the controller.

It was able to move afterwards. So I am not sure what happened in your game.

Did you try with Canada while the UK not at war with Persia?

This is Canada attacking and taking Persia with UK at peace with Persia. And Italy neutral since Paris was not yet taken by the Germans.

Yes, hence my question to Alvaro. Not sure if he did try it in the same way as it happened in your game.

Why not DOW as the UK. That should solve the problem.

Just something I never thought of. Minors should not be able to DOW without the major power.

Just because the UI allow me to do it.

That ability will be removed next patch. Things like this make you a great beta tester.
