No action this w'end as my opponent has been dragged off by his trouble and strife (cockney rhyming slang for those not familiar with the idiom) to visit 1 of her friends.

So here's the current position in Eastern Europe

USSR has now ordered 6 inf armies and I have enough logistic pts for 1 more after putting a couple of inf xxx into static mode (each saves 5 LP's)

After buying that last army next turn, Soviet army strength inc. all units in the build queue will be just over 3600. Perhaps the Wehrmacht at a mere 2040 is not that big after all [8D]. Still, after buying all these armies and upgrading almost all land forces (ie not the complete rubbish) I will have almost no soviet PPs in the kitty at the end of next turn (Feb 27), but then no more spending until the forces of evil attack.

Well, the USSR may have a huge army but there are a lot of these on its border so there is no room for complacency

My opponent is now back from his family weekend at the beach, where 1 of my operatives was able to take a photo

I strengthen my anti-invasion forces in Russia.

March '42
Just keeping Lille inoperative and averaging equal air losses. Russia bought 'last' army and only has 4 logistics left.

April 10

Heavy rain over northern Europe and most of western SU so no combat of any sort.

Some reinforcements go to Karelia as the orcs seem to be appearing in Norway in large numbers inc. paras 2 hexes from L'town (under the norwegian a/f)

More detailed recce has been ordered.

Am I right in assuming that LL relocates to Archangel if Murmansk rail is interdicted?

April 24

And they find mech and cav units lurking. Imminent invasion warnings sent out to all soviet forces.

Hope we will recover. [;)]

Yes sadly he knew to surrender before losing in the USSR with the massive onslaught.

That mech in Norway overran 3 bombers...so I am sure he rage quit...don't let him fool you all.
He is not fooling me.

Begin-again...
