would be nice if there where a note on the form to tell you about surviving pilot (if playing with pilot)

you have a good overview on all planes lost/aborted/cleared doing the combat.

just a simple # X pilots survived, and added to available pilots

then if you have alot of air combats doing the turn, you have a pretty good idea how many survived. 1 in that one, 2 in that one 0 in that one. etc.

In the reserve pool, there is a list of the number of pilots available for each major power.

I know that.

my point is that it would be nice to have a running idea of the number doing the turn, without having to look

in the board game you manually added pilots to the pilot track, so you always knew your pilot number. (or had a general idea)

in the game its all handled behind the screen and you loss the feeling. (or at least I do, I always train to many pilots, because i dont have a felling of how many is surviving)

The destroyed units form has a section that tells you how many pilots and CPs each country has lost this turn. This feature was not in the original release, but was added after a few years.
