Where are some good setup locations for the Libyan forts? Tripoli, Tobruk, Bardia, Libyan/Egyptian border? Which hexsides?
Tripoli seems to be the most valuable to Italy as Allied control is required for Italian conquest.

I mostly place the forts in Tripoli, facing towards coastal hexes.

Yes that's a pretty standard thing to do. Besides, WiF makes it hard to duplicate the see-saw N. African campaigns. You do see the Italians and Germans operating east from Bardia but very seldom the Allies going back the other way. Once on the offensive they are much more likely to be invading from the East or West Med.
