ETA on patch?

Frank Hunter's Campaigns on the Danube is an operational study of the campaigns along the Danube in 1805 and 1809. Campaigns on the Danube's system focuses on trying to present the player with the same sort of decisions placed on their historical counterparts; how to feed an army and move that army according to a plan, all the while trying to fight a campaign. There is also an option to allow players to play out the battles with miniatures and input the results.

I'm holding off on buying this game until the patch comes out.

Will the patch be included in the new game download, or will it be a seperate download?

It is standard practice that the fixes will be in the new game download at the same time the patch is made available for those who already have the game...

Hmmm, with this game the normal Matrix standards (quality, service) seem not to apply.[8|]

I'm a big fan of Matrix and a beta tester for one of their other games, so I really don't like to come down too hard on their usually fine products. I also like the basis of what I see in this game.

But-this game has more bugs than a Harlem flophouse. And Frank Hunter seems AWOL here on the board in terms of saying that the fix will be done soon. Not cool.

There were several issues that could (according to Frank) have been fixed within days of release-so why not patch the things that made the game freeze or rendered it unplayable? A small patch first, then another down the road that fixes a few lesser gameplay issues and bad GUI choices.

C'mon. I'm trying to be on Adanac's side here, but your making it reeeaaallly difficult.

According to David, the patch has been complete, and is being tested. This has been done within the first few days of release. Why blame Frank, if Matrix feels the need to test this. They all have their reasons... According to a post by Frank, the bugs were addressed. A patch in any form would be nice.

I looked at everything mentioned on the forum as well as 2 that weren't. I really appreciate everyone's patience over the past couple of weeks, thank you.

Frank,

Thanks for the hard work - I enjoyed your previous games as well. Just one thought - maybe for the next version or as an update - it would really help if we could get more of the map on the screen...
