Crown of Glory 2022

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Crown of Glory 2022

Post by ncc1701e »

Is there a chance to have an update on modern computers of Crown of Glory: Emperor's edition?

This game was very good and it seems some people are interested (see here):

It really just needs a final patch to fix some of the more irrtating bugs that still persist. I'd probably play it a lot more.

Happy to see I am not alone.

I would like a way of playing the hex battles as a standalone scenario generator.

As the sale is on I recommend trying Napoleon's Campaigns, and Campaigns On The Danube.

I also recommend trying Ageod's American Civil War; but their WON (Wars of Napoleon) is just too big and slow to lay I feel.

I would like an improved CoG 3 with some improvements taken from FoF.

I like the details in this game but it is not updated for moderns screens! that is like watching a old movie on a modern digital screen with black bars on the sides, and wondering how it would be like to see it all filling the screen.
An updated version would be very nice.
For now I prefer Empires in Arms, also because I can import battle results.
