Hi, just got this game a couple days ago, it looks like it has a lot of promise. Is there anyway to increase the game resolution to above 1024 x 768?

No, sorry. The engine dates back to a time when this was the standard resolution for computer games, and it would be a massive undertaking to retrofit widescreen into this game due to the complexity of the code (not to mention the amount).

The engine was developed in the mid 1990s?

At the very least there should be the ability to run in windowed mode if the resolution can't be changed.
