Three cheers for AGEOD!!! This really does push the game over the threshold for me. A brilliant, truely innovative game which the developers support to a ridiculous degree. I cannot wait to apply this patch and forge on with my games. Am I correct in my reading that it is save game compatible? Again, thank you Matrix and AGEOD, now my only complaint is that the support you give this game makes my manual obsolete every other month!!!

Well, you need to be more specific than "it doesn't work." In exactly what way does it not work?
BTW, you will get better support and a more expert answer to your question (maybe a direct answer from the game developer(s), even) if you ask it at the AGEOD Forum
AGEOD Forums
As you might expect, the AGEOD AACW Forum is
much more active than the Matrix AACW Forum.

Quick check before applying the patch:
It will upgrade ongoing PBEM's right?
The upgrade sequence for PBEM is:
1) Host upgrades
2) Host gives his orders
3) Host perform End Turn
4) Host sends TRN file to opponent
5) Opponent upgrade
6) Opponent gives his orders
This should complete the upgrade and both players should now be upgraded and the PBEM "in synch" right?

Again, you are
much more likely to get a detailed and accurate response if you post at the
AGEOD Forums. This here forum is very quiet and unfrequented in comparison.

I understand that. Does it mean my question will not be answered here? I have a slight hunch that berto knows the answer to the riddle......

No, I don't have an answer. That's precisely why I suggested you post in the AGEOD Forum. [8|]

Generally, I have both players upgrade immediately after the turn resolution.

[:)] It turned out we "just patched" and played on. Seamless = Great! The new patch really takes the game to another level. Now I only need the time to update my AAR with the last four PBEM turns.... Thanks for a great game and a great 2008 for everybody!
