Why does instant combat always have more casualty rate then quick combat? I did this several times. I am playing CSA approx 2-1 my favor and I lose in Instant with a greater loss. Quick Combat I am the victor with them losing more. Just Curious. I know this has been asked before but please refresh my memory.

They are the same combat system. Instant shows you the end result, whereas QC reveals the details of the actions. So on auto QC I would expect the same results. However if you are choosing your own units placements in QC and making decisions about calling up reinforcements that would make for potentially different actions and so end results. That would explain your better performance in QC. The effect is even more pronounced when playing detailed battle as the latter gives so more much scope for individual player ability and advantage as well as great potential for battle enhancing surrender totals.
