Battle screen

Post by robot »

Can anyone tell me what the blue and grey colume in the battle screen stands for or means. It has numbers at the top that changes as the battle goes on. But does anyone know what this number means. I have read and reread the manual several times. But the manual does not explain what this means at least not as far as I can see.

Also how much does putting your forces into corp early in 1862 help. Not only does it take several months to reshape your force but also when you lose a unit after they are in corp it is very hard to find out what sub commander has lost the unit and to replace him.In other words it takes alot of time and trouble to make a fully functional corp force. Im just wondering if this is worth the time and effort it takes to make it work. Also it seems you run out of sub commanders to make enough corp forces. It takes alot of shuffling to move enough sub commanders around on the map to fully fill the corp leaders out. This really slows down your ability to be aggressive as the union leader. I for one think the corp thing could have been worked out a little better. maybe each corp leader could have commanded like three or four division with a limited amount of troops.

One more thing I have been trying and remember this is from a very noob player with little experience in playing this game. I have been placing my artty into artty commanders instead of the corp leaders with very little experience in artty handling such as leaders with a 1 or 2 artty number. Seems to make my artty work somewhat better might work for some of you better players as well. A small tidbit I have found as a donation for all the excellent help I have received from all the great members out there.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me on the battle screen.
