Please try this:
1. Uninstall the game.

2. Create a new Local User Account in Windows 10.
Check the guide presented on the link below for on how to do it:

3. Change the new Local User type to Administrator.
Check the guide presented on the link below for on how to do it:
http://www.windowscentral.com/how-chang ... windows-10

4. Reboot Windows.

5. Login in the new Administrator account.

6. Install the game

Tried this and it still does not open...arrrgg!!??[:@] Thanks for your ideas....

I think this will be the final one...

Try to disable all background programs in case these are interfering with the normal running of the game.
You can do this by running msconfig and disabling all non-windows start-up programs and services.
Then once you have disabled all non-Microsoft services, please run the game and see if the issue persists.
If it does not, please then reopen msconfig and reenable those services, one by one, until you find the program causing the problem.

BTW the tutorial for shutting down bg applications isn't posted anymore.

Unfortunately, this did not work either..........

So what happens when you receive the message Loading Main Program?
Does it exit to the desktop?

guide updated to latest windows 10 version the creators update, 2 installs, an upgrade to the creators update and a clean install, both worked as shown

a update from a previous version of windows shown, but can do the other if needed, only takes a few hours to setup and run

Once I choose a scenario, I click on play and nothing happens. It does not exit to the desk top or display an error message. Thanks.

So you don't even see what terminator shows in the screenshot posted a few posts above?
