PBEM replay

Post by designer1812 »

When I first got this game, only the host in a PBEM game could view the actual replay. Has this been fixed, or has a way been found for the non-host player to review the replay?

1.03 has a replay procedure for nonHost thru F12.

Hello guys,

I have the same problem, that I cannot see the replay.
I am playing with 1.04 and I am non Host.

The F12 opens the available decision cards menu, and nothing else happens.

Thanks for all kind of help.

The steps Wheat and I finally stumbled into are as follows:

1) The host processes the turn, then sends the ".hst" file and the proper replay file to his opponent.
2) Opponent put these files in his save folder and opens the game using the "Load" command.
3) Opponent then types the "`" (tilde) key to get the game command line and types the command "loadreplay" (no space between load and replay).
4) opponent then hits the spacebar and the replay should play out for the opponent.

Now ask yourself where THAT was ever documented by the people that made this game...
