Strategic Move Railpoint reimbursement bug?

Dear Frank,

I have an actual issue in a game where a hex, where I ordered some troops to rail move away (medium-long distance) was attacked. I understood that the rail move was cancelled, but I did not get my rail points reimbursed, as these troops did not move by rail.

Or is this an error of me? But I think it is the rule that unused rail points will be re-allocated to the player

Could you please check into this? Should I send you a file?

Thanks
Hanno

PS: Love the game!

Hi Hanno, unfortunately in that case the rail points are lost but I will check into it to make sure.

I suppose it could be justified by saying that you marshalled the trains there, and then didn't use them.

I had something similar happen to me. My understanding was that the units would move towards the destination hex but, if the hex was occupied by the enemy, they would stop in an adjacent hex. But in my case the units didn'y move at all. Is this right Frank? or should they have moved part way towards the objective hex.

HarryBanana, I'd have to see this to say for sure. If you have the autosave "move" file or any other save immediately prior to that occurring I can walk through it and tell you what happened.
