This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.
I was planning to get the gold version anyway, so I figured I would take advantage of the Holiday sale and glad I did. With the expected tweaks / additions coming with the Gold version I has to say this game will stay on my HD for a long time.
Only in September 1914 as the Entente and loving it so far. Like most though I am glad the Map is getting fixed, the current orientation of it is a bit annoying, took me 10 minutes to find Serbia on my first turn
It is a great game. I am looking forward to the Gold version also, but there is no telling how long it will be in development. It might be n 2 months, but maybe not. I think they will be checking this one quite thoroughly.
If you start off playing in the 4 player mode, it will reduce the amount of things you have to do each turn. You can blow through the turns quicker and get a handle on it all works. Of course, your AI ally may not be doing just what you want it to do-an interesting burden.
Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.
Didn't think of that, great idea. I am still mucking about (I am one of those that only read the manual when I am stuck) so when I start a serious game I will take that route and let the AI control Russia.
