Problem w the patch and the 'update kit'

I purchased the Gold version about 20 days ago?

It has never worked. The patch says that I can choose single CPU mode. No you cant.

Apparently you have to have owned the original game, and upgraded it with the kit
THEN installed the H patch.

I never owned the original game. All this is frustrating. It looks like a great game.
Someday I hope to play it

You have to click the link in the Start Menu:



Locate it in "World War One" or "World War One Gold" folder. Move the link to the appropriate folder, if necessary.

I think you have not set the right folder when you have installed patch H.
