Shuttle bombing - is it possible?

Post by chamberlain »

Is it possible in CAW to conduct shuttle bombing? That's when, say, a carrier wing takes off from its flattop base, hits a target at long range, then lands at a land airbase nearby that's closer than its original ship. This would greatly extend the range of strikes, and makes having land bases all the more important. If it's possible, what are the actual steps to set up a strike this way?

Short answer, NO. All planes take off and land at the same place except for land transfers from one port to another. That would be a nice feature to have. Put that in the wish list section.
