Corrupted install

After adding just about every last player made sceanrio available I now have a corrupted install that shows the file folder listings of my hard drive in the "scenarios" window and does not show me the scenarios. Is there any way to fix this short of uninstalling and reinstalling?

Don't quite understand what you, um, accomplished here. You should have a number of folders (each the name of the individual battle) inside the scenarios folder.

Yea, I know what I should have. It's what I've got that is the problem. My scenario folder listing is now a file folder listing for my hard drive.
Is anyone from Matrix going to respond?

It's been two weeks since I posted requesting help and still no official response from Matrix!
Why create "support" forums if you never monitor them or respond to them?
You would think the indirect assistance I give Matrix by beta testing their future products would rate a little consideration. [8|]

Hans,
Sorry about the late reply. Honestly though, I'm not sure this has anything to do with the game itself. It sounds more like your directory table on your drive is corrupt. Have you recently run a thorough sector-level scandisk and a defrag to check for such errors?
Regards,
- Erik

I've done a multiple defrags since this occured but have not done a scandisk. I have no other anomolies with my file tables so I didn't attribute to that.
I guess I'll just try uninstalling and reinstalling, Then I'll add the third party scenarios one at a time and hope it doesn't happen again.

Maybe I misunderstood - are you seeing this only from within the game or also outside the game?

In Game. After starting the game and getting the game interface the screen for selecting scenarios has a file table listing for my hard drive in the area that should be showing me the scenarios to select from. I only get this when I choose the "start a new game" choice. If I hit the "load" button to load a saved game I then get the correct list of saved games to load from. Currently I can only play saved games and cannot start any new games.
I'll try and remember to get a screenshot for you.

Ok, yeah - my first choice would be to try a reinstall and see if it duplicates. If so, we will have to forward this to SSG for investigation.

Think I understand what you're seeing now. The scenario selection menu operates along the same principle as Windows Explorer (i.e. you can search for the directory where the scenario files are located).
You simply need to drill back down to where the scenarios are located (i.e. select Matrix Games folder... then select Battles in Italy folder... then select Scenarios folder... then select specific scenario folder you want to play.
