Can't download 1.04 patch

Can't download 1.04 patch

Hi, I broke down and bought the game, but now cannot download the 1.04 patch via the in-game updater. The updater starts, and then seems to download the whole patch, but at the end I get a message saying the patch cant be downloaded. Is there a way for me to patch manually?

**EDIT**Found the download link in the announcement re the patch, trying that now...

76mm,
I haven't been able to use the updater for years, ever since I switched from dial-up to Verizon Wireless. Matrix tried to help me but to no avail. You're not alone in this issue.
By the way, this is a great game!
