Hmm, when you open the game, up top, in the menu under Help-about, what does it say? I am having no problems with either building or resuming any of the DCG's I have. I may just supply a new version, I evidently a while ago converted the game to the new UI as in EF, WF, RS. Was messing around with it last night to see if anything is amiss. Might not be perfect, but is better than the older version. Do you have my email? I can send you a campaign in progress, see if you are able to open it.

The Korean War mod is an excellent mod, and I really like it! Now I want to create some fictional campaigns using the editor and include Japan. However, in Rising Sun, Japan is by default part of the Axis powers. Could you tell me how can I add Japanese units from Rising Sun to the UN faction?

Hi groundsee,

I don't believe you can do that because Japan is locked as an Axis Power inside the game code for John Tillers Campaign Series. In later games they added Side A and Side B configuration in Campaign Series Middle East and Campaign Series Vietnam which allowed countries to be switched to either side.

However, I do talk with Warhorse (Mike) on a daily basis and let him know about this post. Maybe he has something but I'm not sure.

Hello, no, not as Japan, but you would need to pick an unused Allied country, rename/renumber all the oob entries to the number associated with that unused country. Put all the artwork, also renumbered to match, then have Jason Petho encrypt the oob file for you. All associated formation files would need renumbered as well. A ton of work, has been awhile since I did all of this, but believe that is the gist of it, hope this helps?

Thank you for your explanation. It seems that the workload for this modification is quite significant, so I think I will give up on this idea. Once again, thank you for the mod you've created. Games themed around the Korean War are very rare. The only ones I've played were some made by Chinese developers back in the late last century when I was a child, and of course, those games had a strong ideological bias.
