Version 1.05 officially released

Post by Gerry Edwards »

Hello Everyone,

V1.05 has been released and is available via your updater or from Here. Below is the change list from V1.02 till now.

V1.05 – February 21, 2014

Bug Fixes

Fixed bug in 1.04 AI victory hex prioritization that could make it take a very long time.

Fixed check for units that must survive to be before the victory check in case they die on the game-ending move (nice try, Wurtz).

Fixed close assault into hex with vehicle(s) and all shaken units to properly eliminate the shaken units if the vehicles are eliminated.

Added hotkey T (for terrain) to toggle display of counters on map on/off.

V1.04 – February 19, 2014

Bug Fixes

Fix for inability to select/deselect units after leaving specific unit selection mode without selecting a unit.

Fix to AI's estimate of how many victory hexes it needs when it is side 1 instead of side 2.

Fix to allow hex clicks near the edge of the tutorial text box in smaller resolutions.

Fix for saving game during rally phase always going to player #1 first on first ops Phase, even if player #2 had won initiative (new saves only).

Fixed LOS results from using the old position of a vehicle if it was checked with the string before the vehicle assault moves on the same impulse.

Improvements

Added two more zoom levels; if you call original levels 0, 1, 2, 3, they now go 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3.

Added option to disable rally voice sound effects (Motherland HUZZAH will still play, because.)

Activation info is now in save file. A loaded save from pre-1.04 version may let you cheat a little with activations for the first impulse.

When alt-tabbed out and a song/ambient sound ends it will not play a new one until you are back in the game.

Told AI that if you unbutton a tank next to an unspotted unit it doesn't then need to do a spot roll.

Told AI to consider all units in a hex to be released from 'hiding from player' status if any are.

Some AI improvement to better prioritize vic hexes near the end of a scenario.

Special nation rules moved to external file Nations.csv for easier modification, added two blank nations for custom-named nations.

V1.03 – February 17, 2014

Bug Fixes

Corrected some hex numbers in the Vehicle Combat tutorial text.

Fixed spelling of Cemetery terrain.

Fixed bug where AI units on side 2 would sometimes attempt to flee to player 1's exit hexes (seen on Prochorovka).

Fixed missing Fight or Die button in Advanced Rally tutorial.

Fix for an overlooked rule: buttoned vehicles do not automatically spot adjacent enemies. Updated Vehicle Basics tutorial to take that into account.

Fix for Soviet Campaign scenario #2 not loading properly.

Fixed bug where reloading a scenario with reinforcements might cause them not to appear.

Improvements

Player is now prevented from trying to spot their own spotter's hex.

Changed the Esc exit message for tutorials to something less taunty.

Cheers,
Gerry

I can't seem to be able to update the game. Bought it on day one. First tried to update today, but won't connect vie the 'in game' update, nor the web.

Any ideas?
