Is there a reason why the die change colour from scenario to scenario?

On Initiative, sometimes the red die is for the Soviets and sometimes it's for the Germans...makes it really annoying when, as the Germans, I see a low red die roll and then realise that was my roll (and of course vice versa if playing the Soviets)

I think the red die is always the enemy.

It would be better if red = Russian and black = German.

Yes black die is always your die.

Red = Russian is fine for East Front, but maybe they want to keep it consistent for games to come that won't have Soviets.

But then they could always go with traditional game colored die that represent each nationality. Just a little bit of extra eye candy.

Agreed

Russia = red
Germany = black
USA = green
GB and Commonwealth = khaki
Japan = yellow

Etc.

I don't mind now I know...black is always my colour. [:)]
