Can't connect to ftp server

.. to download new patch from the members' area. Looks like a time out? Wondering if the prob is at your end, or if there is something I should look for at mine.
Update: I can connect fine from another computer, so this is obviously a prob at my end. Anybody else have probs with this, any ideas on what to look for in trying to fix this? It's not a problem logging on to the FTP server, as far as I can tell - rarther, my main computer just doesn't seem to be able to get a connection to it at all.
Not a new thing - don't think I've ever been able to connect to the Matrix ftp servers from this machine.
