I bought it AND I like it so far.

Officers - The Matrix Edition puts you in command of the Allied force in the largest conflict of our time. Take control of the US and British armies in order to strike back and defeat the Axis menace on the Western front of Europe. With over 1500 units on maps up to 10 square miles, Officers is the first WWII real time strategy game to let you fight on a truly massive scale. Historical battles like Operation Overlord, Millennium, and Cobra will put your tactical skills to the test using combined forces from infantry and engineers to tanks, artillery and bombers. The Matrix Edition is an enhanced release with additional fixes and improvements that cannot be found elsewhere.

I must say you have done your work with your MarixGames edition. [:)]
I have played the German version of this game and I think yes all the bugs are history.

Well, again good work.

Does the map editor work? Also is it only Multi player.

I'm very wary of this. I need more info on this game. I hope someone who owns it can make an AAR. The map looks divided into sections, Do you fight section by section? What's up with these resources, the reviews seem to think resources don't make a difference.
Thanks for any additional information.

@ Titanwarrior89

I would like to use the map editor but I can't find the EpisodeEditor.exe in "Officers” folder. So I don't know if it works or not. Sorry.

I to am interested but the reference to capturing enemy warehouses and weaponry to extend your supply line really puts me off. Is his really just a game, based on war, or is it WARGAME?

Played about 12 hours still not finish the first mission. I would say it's a good wargame "lots of strategy". "You can't compare it with other Officers versions on the market." [:)] no tank rush possible like in Order of War. [;)]

Thanks Max, we're glad to hear that folks are enjoying it. We consider it a "wargamer's RTS". It's still a real-time strategy game, but it has a lot more strategy and less twitch than most, combined with a good historical context and historical units and terrain.
