New Computer+Arty Bug = Testers Required

"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"
I'm looking for a few brave souls that have modern hardware and can't get SPWaW to work properly due to that God-damned bug in the Artillery screen.
I guess I need some different computers with dual, and quad-core processors (Intel and AMD). Is there more powerful gear out there? If there is, let's try it too.
Preliminary reports from a potential solution are guarded, but initial indicators are promising, more extensive testing is now required
It won't wreck your 'puter
Promise.
Please PM me if interested.
Here's hoping, eh?

Arty screen is operational for me. Core i5, GeForce 580 GTX (I think), Win7

I'm working on it.

I just want to report here, that artillery screen click bug can be deal with without setting affinity on mech.exe.
I'm using Win10 and Win7 with Core I7, and it works on SPWAW 2016 even without setting /affinity parameter, without pressing shift or anything else.
All you need to do is clicking each target (hex / box) while moving the mouse.
Move your mouse from slightly above to the target hex / box, or move it inside the hex, then click while you're still moving. It is tricky for the small box but not so hard.

As I another topic mentioned, setting affinity or not, was no much effect into artillery menu's speed (I mean how fast I can choose hex and get it marked). And no matter if I press shift or not, function is slooowww imho. Leaving art menu lasts at least 1 minute[X(]. It's pity when everything else in SPWAW works ok[8|]... I have Windows 10, Intel i5 processor, 16 GB memory.

Have you try my method ?
Move the mouse slightly at the hex before clicking the mouse.
So you need to click while moving the mouse.
Only one click required.
No need affinity, shift, etc. Just one click after moving the mouse slightly.

Yes I tried but it's still so sloooowwww[:(]... Especially leaving menu is painfully slow[8|].

The only i7 processor I have had a chance to test SPWAW on worked with AFFINITY value of 4. However as pointed out in the other thread i7 processors are not made the same. In this case I found out the number of physical and logical cores from the Windows command promt with the commands: "wmic cpu get NumberOfCores" and "wmi cpu get NumberOfLogicalProcessors".
These gave me the result of 2 cores and 4 logical processors. Which means it is a dual core i7 with hyper-threading.
Other i7 processors can have four or even eight cores and up to 16 threads or logical cores. So there is no magical value that will work for all i7 processors. [:(]
