Will this game work with Windows 10?

If I pay $50 for this game, will it work in Windows 10? I see there are a lot of patches, so it seems that it will if I patch it correctly. But I just thought I'd ask (I've played earlier versions of the game over the many years, but haven't lately).

Just wait till the next sale. $50 is way to much for a 17 year old game that "barely" works on Windows 10 with out a lot of fiddling around with 3rd Party software to make it work. And it won't work in full screen mode on a 4k monitor.
If you want to play Steel Panthers on a modern rig go purchase Shrapnel games SP:WW2 and or SP:MBT instead.

Remember that SP:WAW has not been updated or upgraded for 15 or 16 years.
SP:WW2 and SP:MBT are updated each year, runs on windows 10, in full screen and the CD purchased version has a ton of extra content for a mere $35 when on sale.
Forgot the $50 price tag of a dead and not updated relic that only works if you jiggle this and put some of that over there and cross your fingers and hope it displays anything but in 640 x 480.

It works just fine on Windows 10. There is one patch you need, that's it and it is easy to apply.
Don't pay full price for it though, it does come on sale at Matrix.

Just fired it up on my ten year old laptop using the latest w10 no problems
