I am not very good with words but here goes.

Iam thinking of both of you and hope that the dumb f**k gets what he deserves. I have two young daughters and really feeling for Jenny and you.

But as much as you would like to see some harm to him now, is it really worth the risk of Jenny growing up without a father if some thing should happen to the F**k.

Let the courts sort him out and when he is locked up let the crims sort him out.

G-D it, Klink's right. The visceral urge to force-feed the bastard his own entrails sears every father's nerves when they even think about something like this happening. Good things can come from here on out still. Meditate on it, pray on it, think on it, and you will find ways to help her make something good out of it.

There is a path of fear, of curling up and regression. This of course is not good. There is also a path of explosion, of searing sunlight and destructive head-on confrontation. This, also, is not good. Between the two, perhaps next to one or the other or not, there is a path you can guide your daughter on to grow from this--her path.

I also know a couple of women who experienced something like what Jenny went through and there is going to be a 'later' for her. She has the incredable help of having you to love her and be there. This is important!

Legal system is screwed up. Nothing much more to say on that.

BUT I hear that the guys on the inside have a tendency to render justice on slime like him in their own way. So just think of the years of retribution he has to look forward to - if he survives.

Hang in there and be strong for both of you.

On the first count sometimes there is, unfortunately the truth is some simply don't. I think your Jenny will though Jess, because she obviously has family that know what happened and are there for her and the hardest part is already over.

Yep, the legal system stinks, there is a book published here in Australia & New Zealand called the Paedophile & Sex offenders index, it's been outlawed though here. The book lists known Paedophiles, the charges laid against them and the outcome of their trials, it is disappointing how many are still on the loose because of the legal systems setup.

And yeah they do, sex offenders usually get kept out of general population for just that reason, although sometimes there is a "mistake" in the papers which puts them with the general population, suicide is not uncommon.
