General Discussion and Enhanced Version

So, its been many years since I've been on the forums and I've recently started playing the 2009 Enhanced version. It seems to have a number of improvements that I would expect in the .exe (e.g. better close assault odds) although it was advertised as not having any coding changes.

So, I see that there are sub-forums for campaigns, AAR, opponents, etc. but none for just general discussion of SPWAW nor mods. Where would this be discussed?

Well, not sure which version you last played, but Enhanced uses the latest mech.exe (8.403) Mike Wood was working along with us when we first started all the Enhanced stuff, so he did do alot of 'Code' stuff.

The main area here is where the General Discussion goes, this is a more of a subforum of the main forum..
look down below where the "Pacific trailer" thread is...

Hey thanks guys.
My kids are older now and I'm getting back into this - I have a new tactics guide underway too.

I have a shortcut to your guide on my SP:WaW computer and refer to it often when I play this great, timeless game.

Looking foward to your updated version!

You should check in at www.spwaw.com as it is very active, and the Official Support Site for this great game!
