I just bought the game (3/18), updated it to 1.05a and now it CTD's every time I hit new turn. I've tried several different scenarios and the Pacific Campaign.

The Demo (1.02) ran fine. This is frustrating to say the least.

I'm running Vista with the latest updated, an ATI video card, 8GB of RAM.

Any help?

Did you get the 1.05a from the members forum here at Matrix?

Or did your down load contain 1.05a?

As far as I know you have to get it from the members club.

Are you playing the game as Administrator?

Check a couple of threads in this section.

I believe it CTD's every time if you are not an Administrator.

I bypassed Vista and have XP.

Waiting for funds to update to windows 7

I am running it as an Admin.

I think the version downloaded was 1.01 and then I downloaded 1.05 and then got 1.05a from the members area. The demo, v1.02, ran fine. And this ran fine for awhile but now it CTD's each and every time I hit the New Turn button.

This was my exact problem. (Vista, next turn button etc...)
I fresh install and then an update straight to 1.05a made the difference.
Also installed into a differently named directory, just in case. For the moment all is well.
Hang in there. As frustrating as this is, the developers are really good people.
They WILL rectify this.
The game is good, you didn't get a lemon.

After a re-install of everything it appears to be working fine now. I can at least go to the next turn which makes the game a whole lot more fun! [:D]

We are working on hotfix that will fix this issue.

Played for about 5 hours last night and everything worked fine.....other than my poor command skills. [:D]

Playing on a laptop. Just installed the game (german edition) and have CTD every time i click on "next turn". Will try a new install.

Update: now it seems to work fine. I am wondering if it's because i selected "don't ask" when clicking on "next turn" as it's something i had done at the end of the tutorial. Now i've let the "don't ask" on so i have to click ok every time. That might be the bug imho.

Update 2: after exiting the game to post here, i've relaunched the game and have the same problem

Maybe it's because i have Intel Pentium II only?

Update 3: running as admin was the solution...[8|] should read forums before asking questions...
