Damn![8D] Very smooth landing, considering the surface.

I love it,retractable gear and all.  I'll bet the the engines could turn more than a 2 bladed prop.

I don't think they do, it's probably far too complicated to make a working one at that sort of scale. As for the 'plane, it is rather spiffy [:)]

They could probably pick up some cheap surplus titanium for the turbine blades (part of the "peace dividend") [:D]

Hi all,

I saw "jet" powered RC jet replica (Su-27 "Flanker"). The speed of this 2 meter "thingie" was about 350 km/h !!! [X(]

Check this out.

It weighs 300lbs, has a 23ft wingspan and is powered by 8 turbine engines.

I always though jet engines were simpler in some ways than piston ones. They probably run on 2 stroke fuel. (kerosene?)

I want one of those  - before I get the Harley.[;)]

What country does that RC B-52 fly in, Reg?

To be honest I don't know.

That's the trouble when people circulate interesting pictures and don't cite where they got them from. However, the statistics are in imperial units so that points towards the U.S. but that may not be the case.

Just because I can, another picture....
(there were a lot more in the set).
