Allied Opponent Needed for 2x2

We are looking for a second Allied player to join Wolfpack, Q-Ball and myself in a 2x2 Big B's 1.5 Mod. NY Giants had to resign and we want someone who is up for the challenge of joint planning, many strategy email messages, and a slow paced game.

Since Q-Ball and I have spoken at great length about our plans for the war, we would prefer someone who HASN'T looked at our First Team AAR.

There were map problems that stopped our campaign on Dec 10th and we have simply decided (with problem fixed) to start again.

Anyone interested will have to take our rigorous--are you cool enough for us--test and pass! OK--there isn't a test but it was fun to say!

Are there any takers out there?

If you get no other takers I'll give it a go.

However I had been reading your AAR (to post 45) and will now desist until this is resolved.
As for my background I've been playing the AI since 2005, and BigB's mod since it came out. I did have a BigB PBEM going as Allied that ended in 8/43 (mutual).
I'm UK based so timezone is GMT.
I'm good for 1 turn a day (in a 1x1 game at least).

When I try to access the notes on the Bib B mod I get a 404 error. Can someone post the notes for the Big B mod please?

He has done a slight upgrade to 1.5 and that is what we have loaded.

Here is version 1.5

Design Notes 1.5 changes (DEC 08);

Basically the same as 1.4 except as follows:
A6M3 Zero has had its durability reset to 22 - as it should have been (All A6M2 & A6M3 Zeros are Dur=22 instead of Dur=20...typo)
Device 188, Type 99 20mm cannon (A6M2 and A6M3 Zero) range increased from 2 to 3.
P-36C guns changed from 6x .30 Brownings to, 1x.50 cal & 3x.30 cal Brownings - historical.
H-81A3 (Flying Tigers P-40) speed dropped from 368 to 355 - Historical.
P-39D and P-400 speed dropped from 360 to 355 - Historical.
B-17G - deleted, No B-17G's went to the PTO - Historical
B-17F replaces B-17G, F model arrives in Nov 1942, factory upgrade.
All B-17 types autoupgrade to B-24J in Late 1943.
FM-2 Wildcat MVR rating increased from 36 to 40, matches the MVR rating of A6M5 - Historical.
A5M4 Claude MVR rating increased from 39 to 44 - Historical.

All of the above changes reflect either the correction of typos, or incorporate new data found while putting AE together.
Note: AE will alter this further through introduction of altitude based performance bands.

Overall, a welcome cleanup and new addition, which will generally help the Japanese Early War game.

It doesn't have to be downloaded - just let the Japanese player email you the game turn and you're off and running.

But then you can't use the editor to see the insides of your fine mod.
