AirLandSea : Western Allies Perspective

Post by cpdeyoung »

19390901 : We offered the Germans a chance to back out from this conflict, but they declined as seen by their actions in Poland, so it is bloody war.

19391001 : We have some Korps isolated, but they are big enough to be hard to hurt.

19391016 : Read that date again, because German panzers just smashed through the Ardennes and little stands between them and Paris. Poland still holds, and destroyed a German infantry korps, but no one expects them to reach berlin soon.

Oh my - nice riposte. Reminds me of allied offensive known as "miracle of the marne" during the opening stages of WW1. Von Moltke suffered a nervous breakdown when he heard of the allied counter-offensive....let's hope your opponent doesn't suffer the same. :)

This AAR and the other where you are attacking Turkey are fascinating. While reading the other AAR I realized as soon as you had panzers in the Balkans and the French collapsed in front of Paris that Turkey would be a good option. I'm glad you chose to attack Turkey and am curious how it will play out.

Great AAR's.

Happy new year indeed! The Germans have surrendered!

Much credit to the French mechanized forces, as well as the RAF, and of course gallant Poland!

Great AAR's.

Apparently he did [;)] I'm stunned, I thought the French were .... at the brink of collapse. Ah well, not the first time I'm mistaken.
The Führer will *not* be pleased.

Der Fuhrer has been removed for incompetence.
