Thought i'd have a fiddle about with files last night, see what I could hack, cheat...ect
So here we are... by Mcloki.... enjoy....
Money cheat
Go to...
\Tri Synergy\Hired Guns\basis\campaigns\JAZZ\global_vars.lua
Open 'global_vars.lua' with with text editor like 'notepad' for example.
There you will see the money amounts you start with, next to each difficulty level. Simply change the ammount to what you want, start a new game and hey prestos LOADS A MONEY!
I find $250,000 to be an excellent round figure, which allowed me to tell both my client and the dictator to shove it, whilst i took the side of the only good guys in the game... the Butsi.
I.P.A test cheat (formally known as IMP)
Go to
\Tri Synergy\Hired Guns\basis\campaigns\JAZZ\campaign.lua
Open 'campaign.lua' with with text editor like 'notepad' for example.
Find the function line that "onImpHired = function(name)"
In this function under the line "setPersonParameter(name, "MORALE", 50)", add the following lines.
setPersonParameter(name, "AGILITY", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "DEXTERITY", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "STRENGTH", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "WISDOM", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "LEADERSHIP", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "MARKSMANSHIP", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "MECHANICAL", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "EXPLOSIVES", 100)
setPersonParameter(name, "MEDICAL", 100)
The value at the end before the closed bracket does not have to be a 100 you can change it to whatever you like.
The end result should look like this

You can also change weapon stats change merc stats and much more in the game, however I find that these two cheats are enough to still have some fun without making the game too easy.
DON'T SET THE MONEY TOO HIGH! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

P.S. It is possible for shammy to show up in the UN base in one of the story lines.....
P.S.S. Training your Mercs at the special forces base after buying the training facilites upgrade makes training go alot smoother... duh...
P.S.S.S. If you choose the bad path you can make an awesome drug deal with your marauder buddies at the pirate island.... woohoo...
P.S.... again..... Games sites that gave this game a rating or 6 or below never bothered testing it to its full potential.... also people who charge other people to cheat are really Pathetic... even though cheat happens.....and sometimes the game makers forget to provide cheats.
