Quality of Graphics

I am considering purchasing Max Football2 , so I am doing some research on a variety of features that are key to me. One of these features is the graphics. Could someone give me a rating on the quality of the graphics (ie) the players, how realisticaly they look ,move, tackle, react. For a point of reference, I would rate Madden 08 in terms of graphics in the 9-10 range. (excellent). I would rate FBpro 98 in terms of graphics in the 6-7 range ( good). Where would Max Football2 rate in terms of the quality of the graphics (ie) the players, how realisticaly they look ,move, tackle, react?

out of the box I would rate graphics at around 4-5
after applying user modifications about 5-7
this title does not have a good modern graphics engine
if you expect madden type graphics...... then in my opinion you'd best play madden
this title has more put into other area's of playability
and is not graphically flash in any way
but the other features it offers far outway its graphical short comings

Yeah the graphics aren't great, but if you want to recreate leagues other than the NFL MFB is great.

The textures can be squeezed out to about a 7-7.5 (with help of user inserted add-ons), if you set the graphics to "high".
Models would be about a 6-6.25, animations about a 4.5
Basically, nothing to make a presentation with, but not horrendous either.
Think of Madden like a supermodel, and MFB like your girlfriend. Probably a stretch comparison, but it's the shortest I could come up with.

Here are a few examples from MaxF (from low end graphic card). As you can see thay don't measure up to madden. But, as was stated it far supasses Madden if you want a football construction set where you can create your own football universe.

The graphics are a lot like Madden 03-04 era. The animations are not up to that though.
The graphics are 3D rather than FBPro's 16 angle sprites, so they are better than FBpro in that regard.
Maximum Football looks well enough for what they are, but don't purchase the game expecting Madden graphics.

Thank you all for the information on graphics. I didn't expect the graphics & animation to equal or surpass Madden: however, if the graphics & animation surpass FBpro , that's god enough for me.
I'm not clear as to what "user modifications" are. Can someone clarify , please.

Maximum Football is pretty open when it comes to uniform artwork graphics and some game files. One can download community created uniforms, stadiums, playbooks, and utilities.

"User modifications" may also be applied to your league structure, plays, rules, and things in the various dbases such as injuries, penalties, names, schedules, etc. Lots you can modify in MaxF.
