I was reading in the Globe and Mail were Toronto FC (MLS) traded away one of there International player spots (they have 8) for the 2010 season.I wonder how that would work in the CFL if you could trade one of your import spots for a season to another team.

Just wondering how the managers would you this ability.Do you think it would be done much and what effects do you think there would be.

It would be unfair to teams not involved.

It would be like NFL teams trading cap space.

CFL teams cannot trade import or non-import roster slots. CFL teams must dress a minimum of 20 Canadian or Canadian-trained players each game. No exceptions.

The rule VCFL Commish has is peculiar to MLS and MLS alone.
