"We were meant to win this game."

-Me, 5 minutes ago.

So here are my 2007 Marlins. We're in the NLCS and playing against Philladelphia in Game 3. It's been a slugfest the entire game. Ricky Nolasco, who pitched a gem in the Division Series against the Giants, started the game. They jumped ahead early with a Chase Utley RBI double in the bottom of the 1st. Things remain silent until the top of the 4th.

(Phillies 1 - Marlins 0)

Torii Hunter (CF) singles.
Josh Willingham (LF) singles, Hunter moves to 2nd.
Trot Nixon (RF) doubles, scoring Hunter and Willingham. Nixon takes an extra base on the throw, stops at 3rd.

(Phillies 1 - Marlins 2)

Miguel Cabrera (3B) homers to LF, Nixon comes in, Cabrera comes in.

(Phillies 1 - Marlins 4)

Miguel Olivo (C) singles.
Matt Stairs (1B) grounds out, fielder's choice. Olivo out at 2nd, Stairs holds at 1st.
Dan Uggla (2B) singles, Stairs moves to 2nd.
Ricky Nolasco (P) strikes out.
Hanley Ramirez (SS) triples, Stairs comes in, Uggla comes in.

(Phillies 1 - Marlins 6)

Torii Hunter flies out to right.

After this, things stop looking good for us. The Phillies come back to score 3 in the bottom of the 5th, 2 in the bottom of the 6th and 2 in the bottom of the 7th. I should have taken Nolasco out a long time ago, but I have this "attachment" to my players and I really feel that Ricky can somehow pull this off. So, going into the 8th, we're losing 8-6. Uggla hits a solo homer with 2 outs, bringing us within 1.

(Phillies 8 - Marlins 7)

In the top of the 9th Hanley Ramirez, Torii Hunter and Josh Willingham deliver back-to-back-to-back home runs, giving us the lead.

(Phillies 8 - Marlins 10)

Bottom of the 9th, I bring in Joe Nathan (CL) to bring this roller coaster to an end. Aubrey Huff leads off the inning with a solo shot. !#%!@$#!@@!%!@#!@!@!!!!

(Phillies 9 - Marlins 10)

Scary. We've still got this though. Just 3 more outs. Pat Burrell singles. Aaron Rowand flies out to CF, Burrell holds at 1st. Bobby Abreu strikes out, Burrell still at 1st. One out to go for the win. Eric Munson triples! Burrell scores. !#%!@$#!@@!%!@#!@!@!!!!!#%!@$#!@@!%!@#!@!@!!!!

(Phillies 10 - Marlins 10)

Hal Matos strikes out and the inning is over. Top of the 10th. Dan Uggla strikes out. Joe Nathan comes up to bat and... CRAP! I forgot to Pinch-Hit for him!

Brian Shouse Pitches to Joe Nathan (.000 0 HR 0 RBI (In the Regular Season))
Pitch 1: (4) (In Play)
HOME RUN to LF (Tale of the Tape: 352 feet.)
Joe Nathan Scores!!

(Phillies 10 - Marlins 11)

The next two Marlins strike out. Nathan gets Jimmy Rollins to fly out to right, Mike Sweene to ground out and Chase Utley to pop out to 1B. Nathan gets a blown save, the win, and the winning hit. As I said before...
