v 1.24 did sim speeds slow noticeably?

Are you noticing that sim speeds have slowed significantly since v 1.24? I'm talking about the quick sim of a game and the sim of a month?

Even the game sim speed seems slightly slower?

I haven't seen an answer to this earlier question, but are there settings or a future where we could dramatically speed up the off-season? It takes far too long for the AI to do its thinking. I'd like to delay building the almanac until I really want to look at it. Having to go through this routine every off-season is a drag.
