About these expansions...

Post by Erik Rutins »

Hi everyone,

These expansions from X1 Software (www.x1software.com) are a new addition to our line - successors, if you will, to the previously released IL2 expansion "Operation Barbarossa" from Just Play/Just Flight.

We feel that these are top quality expansions that add tremendous playability to the IL2 game and we're glad to be able to offer them to our customers here in the US and worldwide.

For more information, please see the information posts above and also check the developer's website at www.x1software.com, which is in both German and English.

Both of these expansions should be released this coming Monday, December 20th.

Regards,

- Erik

Will these be digital download or physical boxes?

Actually, I'm very happy with the download of WITP, so DD is fine, if you are looking for votes [:)]

Both, but as with Gates of Troy the download will be available first, then the physical box option will follow in a week or two.

There was a technical issue with getting The Last Days up on the store yesterday. We were working to resolve it overnight and are working with Digital River this morning as well. Our updated schedule is a release later today. In the worst case scenario, it will not be delayed beyond tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Very happy with it so far, I was worried that the campaigns would be those mission campaigns, but no, they are the real ones, just as if you started one from the normal game

looks good, Lots of action in my first mission
