shared video memory laptop 1100 Inspiron Dell

Post by WayneBGood »

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop 1100 2.o celeron, 264 megs of RAM with one of those shared video memory setups. Since one of the requirements for WaW is 64 megs of video memory I was wondering if the video memory issue on my laptop would be a problem running this game.

thanks,
Wayne

WIth only 264 ram, and shared video, unfortunately I doubt you will see satisfactory performance and may have serious problmes getting it to run at all.

If you could upgrade your system memory on that laptop to the 512Mb range, it would probably run fine in 16 bit mode. With the specs you currently have though, I would agree that the low system memory would probably prevent it from working well at all, if at all.
