I'm creating a ship editor for 3d studio max

It's been quiet lately. Milo is floating somewhere in space and I hadn't touched Starshatter in months. But then I had inspiration of creating tools for ship creation under 3ds max. I've been detailing the progress on starshattermods.com forums, where you should go now. A first version of the readme is available here. The editor can create ship .def files directly from 3ds max by placing special components on your ship model.
The toolset is meant for users of 3d studio max 8 and newer (possibly 7, too). I have a few releases out, and will keep updating.
I thought it would be worth it posting also here, in case there's any 3d studio max using modders who just aren't following ssmods.com.
