Panzer Command Beta Movie!

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Panzer Command Beta Movie!

Post by Erik Rutins »

Hi all,

I've uploaded a movie consisting of a few clips from beta play. Unfortunately the movie is a bit choppy, although my frame rate was smooth, something in the conversion process decreased the quality. Apologies for that, but I thought you'd still be interested in seeing a bit of the game in action.

Panzer Command Beta Clips (6.5Mb)

Hm, it plays fine here. What version of WMP are you two running? I'll double-check things in the morning to see if I screwed something up, thanks for the reports.

"Save link target as" worked. When I try to play directly from the link, I got the same error as Wodin. I think I have the latest WMV.

The tactical particularity of this campaign should be the numerous balkas in a snowy desert, can we have a video of that?

Video quality was to poor to really judge.

However it hasnt lessened my enthusiasm. I also liked the infantry animations.

Nice. Where are the Balkas, and are you going to use some help to make it easier to judge height-lines in snow? That was a nightmare in CM out of the box, and could be fixed by modding. I hope you get it right first time round.

All the best
