Where did you get the Lego soldiers? I mean which series? My son would love them (he's 8)! Did they come from a Raiders of the Lost Arc set?

It's a great AAR, well done mate.
I have also had a few problems with defeating armour with infantry in forests, and close terrain, on occasion.
This you would expect if they had no anti tank capability.
When they are bristling with PzFaust, and PzSchreck, hand held anti tank weapons, and well within range, but not using them, it is a bit baffling as to what is going on?

I agree that battles in close terrain are sometimes strange. When an enemy armoured coy without inf support is devastating friendly inf forces in town or forest during night then I don´t know how react...
