Heads up ...
Tom's Hardware
http://www.tomshardware.com/game/20030510/ww2-04.html
Score: 8/10
However, no mention of Panther, BTS, and/or Matrix. Instead they mention Focus Home Interactive?

Hmm. First sentence mentions Panther, though I don't see mention of BFC or Matrix anywhere.
Cheers

A very nice and insightfull review, and on a well known web site AFAIK.
Things like this don't hurt I assume.
Did you notice ? This is part on a broader article talking about WWII gaming.
They elected roughly 4 games to illustrate different genres : FPS, fllight sim, RTS and wargame. AA is being choosen to illustrate the historical wargame part. Wooot ! Congrats !
The only glitch is that they don't speak about the upcoming Matrix release.

And in fact, this review is where I learned about AA. Saw the funny little squares indicating what appeared to be unit position around the "counter" and I immediately Ran over to google, spent a little time trying to find the demo (links to battlefont all broken) and finally got it. Somewhere along the line I got directed back to Matrix (must have been from the panther website) and rejoiced!
After waiting for years and years for the vapor of Road to Moscow to become reality and do away with hexagons and turns, all the while putting up with TOAW-COW and occasionally going back to CC2, someone has finally done (IMO) the Obvious.
A little rough around the edges, but incredibly well thought out and holding a lot of promise. Not only that, it runs so smoothly on fairly low level hardware!
Okay, I'm just rambling on now. Time to stop typing...
