Victory objectives and AI

My Seven Roads to Hell scenario testing is making progress. It take more time than I have expected, but be patient guys. [:D] More info in my site.
Few questions about AI & victory objections.
I have several victory points (Secure). Highest objective first (US/AI): 1. Bastogne 2. Bizory 3. Foy 4. Noville. They all have some forces already plotted to defend when scenario begins. For some reason AI always leave points 3 and 4 undefended, soon after scenario starts.
How can I make AI defend these points? They need to be defended, otherwise I could drive German forces straight to the big price. Do I need to use Entreched or what?

There are a number of possiblities. I would need to go through your scenario with a debugger to be sure. One option is that the Side AI - that controlling the allocation of forces to Side objectives - reckons that it does not have sufficient forces to secure all objectives and abandons the lower priority ones. Another possibility is that the objective timings are not set correctly - eg the start time is not synced to the Scenario start. Another cause could be your force structure, such that you have only one subordinate under the "on-map boss" at the scenario start - eg. on-map boss = 101st Abn Div HQ. Under command is the 506th Para Regt and nothing else. This structure can struggle to allocate forces across a wide range of objectives.
So check the objective timings and your force structure. If they are correct then try upping the priority of the Foy and Noville objectives.

Victory conditions are still under constructions and I will probably do them again from the scratch. Probably AI will leave low priority objectives, because when scenario starts there is only few battalions on map and 501st has just arrived few miles northwest from Bastogne. Is AI choosing priority by objective priority 'minumum, low, medium...' or by how much AP points it will give? What the purpose of objective priority level, when points show how important object is.
I bet the easiest way to fix my objectives will be to add some other objectives to start little later and choosing only one needed at first hours until full 101st have arrived. Now when scenario start only Command Command B with few battalion reinforced with small forces from Combat Command R and 158th Armored Engineer Battalion are on the map. Four regiments from 101st will arive during night about one regiment per hour, so by six o'clock all units are there and marching towards objectives. If I add new objectives after this I think AI will move new units to there and not abandon old lower priority objectives. Hmm. I think I will need to do some test. Fog of War off -option should be nice for test purpose.
Combat Command B and Combat Command R and under own division HQ, not under 101st HQ technically. But because 101st is the highest HQ unit on the map (it's already there before all 101st arrive) they are under 101st command. Could this be the problem? Should I move regiments under 101st to, to work it better?

The AI plans based on the objective priority level, not the number of victory points. You can actually create objectives with 0 VP - the AI will attempt to secure these depending on their priority, but they will not be visible to a human player and won't affect the result of the scenario. This is handy for setting up flank guards or other items that the AI might otherwise miss.
In general the AI will assign larger forces to the higher-priority objectives. If the side is set to "Offensive posture", the AI will abandon the highest-priority objectives first and fall back on the lower-priority ones; otherwise, it will abandon lowest-priority objectives first and concentrate on the higher-priority ones.
