I didn't really "get" how to play WITP / WPO until I read that tutorial thread on the WPO forums that takes you through the basics of creating TFs, issuing TF orders, managing air groups and issuing land orders.

Do we have any similar AARs or threads about PacWar? Like something that takes you through a single turn's actions and how to perform them.

The information you want is in the original manual, available for download on the web, and you'd use the Guadacanal compaign to run through it.
