Hehe...thats about it..just 4AM here and I had to share w/somebody! Yeah, ok, it wasnt much of a victory. I had 3 40 tonners to his single 50 somethin, but he had a pair of teslas on it tht were seriously scaring me. K, heres my play by play..

OK, not a great play by play, but you get the point of my excitement. Finally got the hang of this... Thanks to the new mod pak I got from you guys, both sides are more fun to play with. I gotta try designing some now...too cool.

Flesh it out a bit! I've taken to keeping Notebook open and making notes as the battle goes on.
The Teslas are fun to use, incredibly threatening when your opponent has them.

That doesn't look like a battle. It looks like a "one vs. the rest" shootout. I find it far more interesting and challenging to fight against hordes of recon or light titans, and to slay them one after another. [:D]

Getting 2 teams each that allows for a duel of 15 recons vs 3 assaults... wanna play?

Yeah, it gives you a feeling ... of ... of power.
However, charges can be nasty, though. Especially if you are trying to stand up and 15 pairs of legs keep kicking at you all the time.

Yep. A swarm of recons, if it sticks together, can all run at you at once, making charge attempts till they knock you over (they can stand up a lot faster than you!) and then finding ways to keep you flat on the ground. It's really nasty when they all have blackrays.

There were rumours of a max of 10 titans per hex. I managed to cram more once though.
A swarm will always have the advantage.

Never really tested it but 10 should be max under usual circumstances. Therefore if you cram 8 assaults in one hex only two recon can charge you [;)]

I managed to get more than 10 by jumping/DfA'ing into the hex. [8D]

According to the code it shouldn't be possible to jump down from level 1 with 10 titans in the hex. Its possible to crash though.

I remember crashing down was possible, I thought I had managed jumping down too. It was long ago, can't recall correctly. Maybe you fixed it after?

Jump charge is only possible from jl1 to ground.
