Anyone interested in a PBM game of ToS? [:D]

It is strange, isn't it? We had far more battle reports for version 1.4 than we have had since Warring Suns came out. Perhaps we should simply ask who is playing human opponents. Shadow Paladin and I have played half a dozen battles or so .. that's about it for me.

If we sell as many copies as the freeware was downloaded (about 300000 copies) we will be rich. Don't think it will happen.

How come it seems like nobody is ever on ICQ? I don't think it has to do so much with fewer people buying the game, as the dedicated players becoming too busy. EM Physics and nasty calculus is my excuse. I haven't seen a single vet from 1.4 online except for Firestorm (who of course didn't buy WS!). I did meet a couple newbies and tried to teach them a bit but we can't rely on only the newbies to keep the battles going.

Also - is that PBEM, or by land mail? 'Cause I don't wanna have to buy all those postage stamps, it's bad enough that MMORPGs started charging per time online but that's kinda ridiculous![:D]

You folks still looking for new meat ... I mean opponents? I'm GMT -5, so that isn't completely a show stopper for those of you in Europe.
